We made a spontaneous decision to drive to Montana for Christmas! We know, we know.... it is a BAD idea to plan a road trip in the middle of winter BUT, our dear friends loaned us their LandRover and were able to safely drive through snow, sleet, and ice to make it to Billings, MT just before Santa on Christmas Eve.....
Twas the night before Christmas and all through the C'mon Inn.... not a creature was stirring not even a mouse. The stockings were hung in the closet with care, in hope that St Nicholas soon would be there....
Santa found us and decorated our closet. We enjoyed a peaceful Christmas morning continental breakfast and a swim! :) What a precious, unique, amazing memory!
We were blessed to share Christmas dinner with the Ellises! It does our hearts good to share the love and laughter of friendship. That is a gift to treasure!
We also enjoyed days of snowful celebration -- sledding, magical sleigh ride, hot drinks, games, movies with cozy covers in front of the fireplace. Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!
